01What documents do I need to sell gold in Dehradun?+
For transactions up to ₹50,000, no documents are required. For ₹50,000 to ₹2 lakh, a valid government-issued ID (Aadhaar, Passport, or Driver's License) is needed. Above ₹2 lakh, a PAN Card is mandatory as per Section 269ST of the Income Tax Act.
02What testing methods do you use to check gold purity?+
We test every item's purity professionally, openly in front of you, before any price is discussed — the method is explained on the spot.
03How quickly will I receive payment for my gold?+
Payment is instant. Once you accept the quotation and complete KYC verification, money is transferred to your bank account via NEFT, IMPS, or RTGS. You can confirm the credit before leaving the premises.
04What types of gold items does IGoldcash buy?+
All types — jewellery (rings, necklaces, bangles, earrings), gold coins, gold bars, and old or broken gold, with purity from 14K to 24K. We also buy silver.
05Are there any hidden charges at IGoldcash?+
No hidden charges. The quotation is based on verified purity and current market rates. The price quoted is the exact amount paid to your bank account.
06Where is IGoldcash located?+
BS-26, Nehru Colony, Dehradun — 248001, Uttarakhand. Open Monday to Saturday 10 AM – 7 PM; closed Sunday. Call +91 9258344869 for directions.
07Do I need the original bill to sell my gold?+
No. Original purchase bills are helpful and can support a better rate, but they are not required. Identity documents are needed only per the KYC thresholds above.
08Can I sell broken or damaged jewellery?+
Yes. Single earrings, snapped chains and bent pieces are all bought — weight and tested purity are what determine the value, not the condition.
09Do I need an appointment?+
No appointment is needed. Walk in during opening hours — Monday to Saturday 10 AM – 7 PM. We are closed on Sunday.
10How long does the process take?+
Usually about 20–30 minutes from weighing to payment, depending on the number of items.
11How is the value of my gold calculated?+
Value = tested purity × weight × the live market rate per gram at the time of your visit. You receive a written breakdown before you decide, and there are no making-charge or other deductions.
